I have enjoyed reading the many posts and stories in the 'How did you find out about TLCA' thread. Its purpose was to help distinguish what format or media or ?? proved best for identifying TLCA to new members.

but now I want to hear from those who have let their TLCA membership lapse.
Why or what has kept you from renewing your membership with TLCA? Did you forget? Is it too hard? Too expensive? Sold your truck? Wasn't what you thought it would be?

How come you let your membership lapse?

if you are a current member, please do not post. If you let your membership lapse but recently renewed after a gap in time, tell me why and what made you renew?

TLCA has been working hard to retain our members. I'd like to hear where we are missing the mark and why we were unable to maintain your support/membership.

It's OK, you will not hurt my feelings.

many thanks!

EDIT by woody: yes, I'll be keeping this on track ;)

I was grumpy when I let mine lapse on purpose..

That problem has been fixed.. Thanks Tony..

I'm good with that...

thanks Mace!

I spent all my cash on Cruiser parts.... :D

...and I wanted to be able to renew for more than one year 'cause I'd forget to mail in the next year's dues. I understand this has changed.

Oh, and I had been unemployed for 2 years. Something had to give... :D

thanks for the input Nick...

We were listening and as you note, are now broadcasting and encouraging members to renew for multiple years. Simpy take your yearly membership and multiple by the number of years desired.

Drop me a note Nick and I'll send you an info pack containing the current issue of Trails. Hope the job scenario works out for you soon.

PM sent... :)

Been working for the local Coke bottler making Junk's favorite beverage, Diet Coke, since T-Giving. Hopefully his addiction doesn't end anytime soon so I might keep my job for awhile. :D

Ran out of cabbage.
No other reason.
Well, one other reason. My fiancee and I are both listed on my membership (as a family membership) but we only get one card and plaque.
It would even be worth a few more bucks to us per year to get a second card and plaque.
She has her own Cruiser now, so it is even more important to her to get her own card. :D
As soon as I am out of overdraft, I will be renewing. I don't like letting my membership lapse.
