Update 11-29:

Talked to Eric and he says that we can use his driveway. so...

When: Thursday November 2 - 6:30 PM
Location: Eric's driveway - PM him for directions

This will be the main project(assuming Brian can make it Thursday):

Depending on how many people show up we can probably hit some smaller projects too, like BamaHeel's running boards, etc.

awesome. Still haven't heard from Brian if either of the days(next monday or thurday) are good for the lift install, but still would like to get together one of those days regardless. Eric and I were talking about bleeding some brakes, changing some shocks, drinking some beer...

Bushing Install

As some suggested, I ordered a LandTank Template for the OME yellow bushings. He sent it out on Friday, so it will probably be here mid week. With that said, late in the week is probably best for me. Just want to give the USPS time to either lose my template or get it here. Looking forward to meeting the local crew.

So it sounds like Thursday is the day. Now, where do we want to meet?

wrenching

Hey, I am new to the group and whated to say hello. I just got back in town from NC but want to meet up for the next meeting. I got a 100 about 4 months ago and have not done anything but blown out my drivers door speaker so I have to change that out. Other than that I want to yank my running boards and turn up my torsion bars.

Look forward to meeting to everyone,

French

If we don't have any other offers, we could meet in my driveway. Either way, I will have some beer available for all.

Also, if Thursday is cutting it close, we could meet on the 7th, the following Tuesday night.

Welcome. Come to the Bham meeting if you can.

Sorry guys, new fire at work so I will not be able to make it Thurs. Looking forward to meeting everyone at the next meeting.

Lift Install

Couldn't stand to see those springs and shocks sitting in the garage any longer, so I insalled the kit while my beloved Tide was giving away the Iron Bowl trophy. All I need to get done is the bushings and I am waiting for LandTank's alignmet template to come in the mail. I will hopefully have it in hand today or tomorrow. Either way I plan on comming just to meet the local group.

Nice job! pics man, pics!

looks like I will be driving the Honda to the mtg. tonight. Yesterday I shifted the transfer into neutral and it wouldn't shift back to high. Turns out the sift lever came loose from the lever that goes into the case and it dropped down in there. If I can't pull it back up with a magnet I will be doing a transfer case rebuild sooner than later...AAARGH!

I was able to pull it up and get some vice grips holding it up, but I will have to lower the transmission a little bit to get it drivable again. So, still driving the honda to the meeting tonight, but at least I won't have to spend Christmas rebuilding a transfer case.
