November 406 Meeting – Tuesday, Nov. 12th – Overland Cruisers (1 Viewer)

Our friends at Overland Cruisers recently moved to a new location in Belgrade, with a little more room to roam. We have an opportunity this month to go check out their new setup, and see what cool projects that got cookin’.

This month is also an important time of the year as we need to lock in our final votes for members on the Board of Directors (BOD). While I hope y’all aren’t too tired of election talk, per our governing by-laws, we will confirm roles for the next year. All 406 Cruiser members should receive a separate email covering the details of roles, current vacancies, and current BOD member coverage.

Here is a quick summary of BOD positions:
President - Chris Michael
Vice President - George Mattison
Secretary - Rowe Price
Treasure - Saul Abel
Land Use Coordinator - (Vacant)
Webmaster - Mike Frantum
Events Coordinator - (Vacant)
TLCA Delegate - Chris Newman (interim)

Two of these positions are currently unstaffed but all of the positions are open to nominations, and elections. If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to nominate someone for, or seek nomination for one of the open positions, please contact a board member (such as me, MTsoul/Chris M.).

I remember talk of needing to sponsor new members before they could be voted in as members, but that doesn't show up in the by-laws text. We have a new potential member who I would like to sponsor.

Agreed, Seth. There are a few items that should be either reviewed or simply updated. And glad to hear there is interest from a potential new member! Will they be attending next weeks meeting?

I was actually going to ask about this at the meeting. I am an annual member but I have not been voted in as a full member yet.

Full membership requirements are paid dues and attendance of both a club ride and monthly meeting.

@MTMarcoux you are eligible to be voted in, we’ll get that done on Tuesday!
