A handful of us went to Frisco Campground last November. The weather was perfect and the campground was relatively empty. Doing it again this year.

Loop D is in a little hole, well protected by trees and dunes. There are numerous paths right to the bathhouse on Loop E. If you think you want to go, grab your spot now before someone else does. Recreation.gov allows you to cancel reservations up until the last minute for a $10 fee
