A few other members mentioned they weren't getting notifications. I was earlier today, but now it doesn't seem to be keeping up with all my "watched" threads. I can go to Watched Threads and see a bunch of them that appear "unread" but the notifications up top are not showing up.

Something going behind the curtain that broke it?

Well, I received notifications on both my desktop Chrome browser and on my Android phone...so clearly it is working.

Double check your Preferences in the forum. There ARE features that limit the notifications (Alerts settings) I have mine set so i don't get dozens of notifications daily.

Additionally I have noted (once) that a phone update/browser update unset the mobile push notifications.

I don't get notifications for threads anymore and it makes me sad, missing all these cute thingsss
There are instances I’m watching something, but don’t get notifications. Dunno. I usually do.
Now that you mention it, I'm not getting all notifications when folks "react" to my posts, even today. Most, but not all.

And, tangentially, I still can't react to my own posts -- which is infuriating, to say the least.

Unfortunately, it is challenging/impossible to fix an issue I cannot replicate...it is either a user browser issue or a settings issue...meaning, the approval to allow push notifications may need to be reset by thebuser

especially when it's working exactly as it should be for me.....I continue to get every reply notification in this thread.....mobile and desktop...

On your desktop Chrome browser....click the small padlock next to the https:// ......and be sure notifications are set to "allow"

FYI, if the forum is active on my desktop, I do not get a desktop notification....background or foreground.

FWIW, I was noticing a thread I'm subscribed to didn't seem to be tripping the alert for me. In alert settings I turned on "Persistant Alerts Enabled" and got a notification for that thread shortly after.

I’ve been having this problem too. Glad I’m not alone. I just checked persistent alerts so hopefully that fixes it. Thanks!
