An option for those who don't like roughing it quite as hard as truck/tent sleeping, my family has a "party barn" about 10-15 minutes depending on lift/age/tires/gearing/etc down the road from the trail head.
It has:
-running water (hot), no showers though
-electricity
-enclosed and not too smelly outhouse
-fire ring and plenty of wood
-3 lofts and 2 enclosed sleeping areas (the lofts and one enclosed are second story and carpeted, the bottom enclosure has bunks for 5 and a woodstove) which can sleep between 30 and 40 comfortably
-refridgerators and freezer
-gas stove/oven (needs to be pulled out of storage room and connected, no biggy though)
-and plenty of parking
