So my 5 yr old wants to go four-wheeling for his birthday in February. As I'll be carting around a bunch of his friends, safety will be paramount. I'm thinking of an easy ride in the Norris Watershed on February 6 starting at 11AM for a few hours in my 80. Norris is a super easy ride but would allow those who are just getting started and/or don't want to incur any vehicle damage to at least get your rig dirty. AKA Family friendly/bring the wife and kids. No permits or user fees are required.

How about a bone stock LX 470 with all-terrains? That is, if you can convince my wife...

It'll be fine Joe.

Count me in as well.

Watershed still planned for Saturday morning. Stayed tuned for more info, if closed we'll have an alternative ride planned for a similar experience!

Change of plans D/T trail closure of Norris: We'll now be riding Royal Blue on the Caryville side staying on the easy trails. Meeting 10:30 in the Walmart parking lot at the Norris exit (you can purchase TWRA ride permits there if needed for $15.50). Afterwards we'll all caravan up to Royal Blue. PM if you need my number.
