I almost want to make your engine compartment my avatar; I bet you have a name for every one of those hoses. ;)

Those 3 hill climbs are steeper than the picts portray especially the middle one.
Good work.

Very true. I showed my wife the hill that I climbed, then showed her the Youtube video of the Blazer rolling down the same hill.

Needless to say she was not too happy that I went up that hill.

Yeah - she'd be even less happy if we had a pic of you getting a little sideways on the down slope!

Or even better, a pic of the open jaws watching you go down the hill!

My jaw or everyone else's jaw? To be quite honest about it, I had second thoughts going down; I considered the long, safer way down, but decided at the last minute that I would regret it if I backed out.

Fortunately, it did not end in a roll.

I had a great time at the clean up and I think we did a great job of collecting all the beer cans and trash off the trail. We will have to have another clean up in a few months. One area I think we did not clean well was the staging area. We should get there real early next time and get the trash out of the staging area before most people arrive for the day. Once that is done I think we should focus our efforts on another aspect of Rowler Flats. I’ll have to call the new contact (Ray Kid) and see what we’re allowed to do other than cleaning up.

Chad mentioned that the Trailcrew might consider adding a picnic table. I think that would be a good addition to our next event at Rowler but we would have to work out the details such as where to put it and also how to secure it.

You are going to make a member out of me yet. ;)

I would definitely like to know when this next event will be held so I can be better prepared, and maybe this time, as a member.

Remember that members aren't required to attend meetings. $20 gets you an annual membership and then you could attend all of our outings which are posted on thetrailcrew.com without flak.
