Anyone have a noisey tranny or TC? My 07 with MT6 sounds like a rattle trap while idleing in neutral or idleing up to my garage in 1st gear. Also there seems to be a lot of slack on the drive line. When I let off the gas, even while running 70-75 on the highway, I get what I think os a lot of clunk. only 10k, not wheeled yet never abused!

Ideas?

As far as the driveline play goes, have you greased your slip yokes? It should be done about every 5K miles. It's been 8K since I've done mine and in the last 1,000 miles or so I've been getting a lot of slap. Only takes a couple of minutes to grease them.

Next time you hear the rattle, grab the T/C shifter and see if that quiets it any.

Anything in your cup holders? I have some change in there that rattels at idel. Just a thought.
 
Never greased the slip yokes yet, only 10K on it figured the stealer would have done that on the first oil change. but thinking back, I asked them to address an engine "ticking noise" and adjust the headlights. they never addressed the ticking and screwed up the headlights even worse than they were at first. Not to mention they were rude and unorganized. Tried to get me to pay for the "free" oil change. then afterwards, called me to tell me some other customer had paid my bill and I had to come back in and pay his! And THEN someone else called to have me do a survey as to how I enjoyed the "excellant service" Greens Toyota provided me. Guess what my answer was?

How does one adjust the headlights on one of these things anyway?

wow sound like we have the same dealer woodeye. my dealer didnt want to up the free oil change either and told me the ticking i am hearing is injectors. i have even asked them about some of the issues i have read about on here and they alway tell me that they have never herd of this or that problem cant even get a answer on using regular gas witch i think toyota themselves even sent a tsb on to say it would be fine.
 
If you have anything going on with the trany, get it to toyota to take a look. I juat had my Trany replaced. For a little bit of water in it.
