New to the forum and a new 2005 GX 470 Non Nav owner.
PO states that the radio quit working after reversing jumper cables and probably needs a new one. So I was looking at different head units, but after some research I concluded that it may not be the head unit, since it turns on and goes through all functions, but volume stays at 0 regardless of turning volume knob with no sound output at all. So I was thinking amp or wiring etc.
I checked the radio fuses and the No. 2 30 amp fuse was blown. With the vehicle off I replaced the fuse and it immediately blew.
I would appreciate any guidance as far as what and where to check. Thanks in advance for any replies.
