So driving to work last week in the dark I noticed my dashlights were out. When I got home later and checked it out I noticed my tail/running lights weren't working either.(headlights do work, blinkers, brakelights reverse lights work) After checkin the wires for breaks or shorts, fuses and bulbs and finding nothing wrong i'm stumped. Is there a fuse or relay I should know about that i'm not checkin? Anyone ever have this problem?:confused::hhmm:

Well there is a fuse for the taillights. Replace it with one that is know to be good. If that doesn't work, then you might have to start looking at the grounds. If you have a volt ohm meter, remove one of the light bulbs (tail light?) and check for voltage when the light is supposed to be on. No voltage = a power problem, voltage = a ground problem. Good luck.

I was having this same problem as an intermitent problem . My remedy was servicing the positive battery terminal clamp. All of the power supply is bussed from this source . the previous owner had replaced the terminal and the one wire that was causing all of my problems was not getting a good connection . I removed all of the corrosion from the wires and lengthened the wires and replaced the battery connection, no more issues
