End of an era.

What seems to be a much happier version.

Word is it will come back as a Jeep/Bronco killer. Hope so.

It will, I hope, and might be called a "Land Cruiser" but will come back. I just don't see TRD Tacoma Pro as the replacement. Not the same no matter how good a TRD 4Runner is. The FJ105 sounds like a sweet rig still being made. I like that option.

My hope is that the 70 Series will be redesigned to meet world/US safety standards and this new completely redesigned model finally makes it to the US as a $50 to $75k upscale off roader. Slightly above a Jeep or Bronco. That way it will have the cache of a high end, high quality, off roader for less than the current luxury yaught LC. If they come in high as new models, then the used market will soon take hold and the aftermarket and cult surrounding the Land Cruiser in the US will welcome it. I can always get my wife an LX.

This is the video that convinced my wife that we need to get one! I just hope the rumors of Toyota bringing it back in a few years are true.
