Well, as I'd very much like to tell you that I did a heroic water xing and hydrolocked the engine, that's not the case. Thus the title.

What Jimmy is trying to say is that he hydrolocked his engine in a seriously non-heroic way! It's up to him to tell the rest of the story. In the meantime I have come up with a tiltle for the thread..."What was I thinking?!?!?"

Will my 79 rods/pistons or anything else help you out?

Rick,
Total cost to go down there and back and buy the motor would cost about the same as a rebuild which I'm doing right now. I have the crack and block at a Greenwood machine shop. Heads going down next week for it's 3FE makeover.

Onur,
Thank bro. I think I'd have to do alot more to put an FZ in my 80. Cut frame up, rewire the trans on the 1FZ to mate to my A440F, etc, etc.

Looks like I'll miss wheeling my rig with you and Nick. I'll ride bitch with someone.

Thanks guys. You are (and anyone else is) more than welcome to come down when I am ready to put the engine back together.
