Great way to wake up Sunday morning. Dad's Jeep parked right behind, numerous cars down the street and mine is the only one. Nothing taken, door not opened, WTF?

edit: Replacement glass on its way. How hard is it to replace on my own?

That sux

I cant speak for the lx450 however I parted out a 4runner last winter and it wasn't very difficult to pull the glass out, just a little time consuming to get to it. I'm sure on the 80 forum there is a write up about it. Justin

Wow, the sliders are on. What about the front bumper? Did you make someone made?

Sliders are on, but haven't done anything with front or rear bumper. Possibly this winter...

First words out of the cops mouth were "who broke your window"? I'm glad Shannon wasn't standing closer as she probably wouldn't have had a kind response.

Errant baseball perhaps, or did it happen too late at night?

Had a window broken on my Mom's car a couple of years ago while it was parked in front of our house and we were out of town. Funny thing was it was on the curb side. Nothing disturbed in the car (door was still locked). Cops didn't have any other reports in the area, so I kinda think it was a baseball or other object, as several of the neighbor kids used to play in our cul-de-sac.

I pulled the glass out of the doors while making the half-doors for the mini, and the glass came out pretty easy. LC may be a more work due to having more stuff in the door.

Time to Rex the guard dog out at night. :D

Seriously, that sucks. Very surprising since your neighborhood has pretty nice folks (other than the next door guy).

If you look close enough you can see the dent in the door that the weapon of choice made. Not a baseball - I'd be a little more understanding then.

Missed that.

Disgruntled employee??

it's not hard...but you have to be smarter than the door. Marc and I pulled the glass on my parts '62 and it was entertaining...like one of those chinese finger traps...;p

don't forget a new vapor barrier.
