This has been posted before. Steve is selling it. I spoke to him today and someone from the Island is coming to look at it/pick it up this weekend.
You bet, any FJ55 with BC Regi that's running and looks OK for less than $2k is a real steal.

Now that is what I call Purdy!!!
It seems to suit its seller's location. "It now resides in upstate NY". Looks like it should be right at home on the fall trails of upstate NY or hauling bushels of apples to market. It sure did not take long to sell... and to a fellow Canuck at that!

Well, Ive spent all my money on a peice of junk 1987 s10 blazer. So Ive put some ads on the internet to trade my guitar and amp for a truck. Ive had a couple guys with trucks offer, including someone with an fj62. But it needs a tonne of work and its an automatic. Looks like im stuck with my blazer until I save enough money for an HJ or BJ60 hehe.
There still is the 60 I know about.
I am sure you could get it for 500 bucks and drive it home.
Could get you into a 60. I have to ask if its a 4 or a 5 speed.
I am down finishing up this residency at school, when i am back I can find out for you.
