Hello all,

I wanted to get the word out to let everyone know that the next meeting for the club is on Saturday January 14th starting at 10am. This meeting is to set the agenda for the up coming year and our annual tech session for all that need it.

This year we would like to have the tech session at Clint's house. For the past couple years, Andy has set the stage with a heated pole barn. Well, Clint has risen to the occasion with a spacious garage and heat for the event.
PM me for Clint's address.

To start off the tech session we have Dave T that needs a rear disc brake conversion or at least upgrade to the mini truck front calipers and a 1" master cylinder...

Thanks,
Jimmy.

Hey Guys,
As far as I know now I will be there.

If anyone is in need of the stock front drum brakes from a 1974 FJ40 let me know and I'll bring them up to the tech. meeting. Every thing was working but I switched to Mini discs, One of the adjusters may be frozen up now that I thinck about it.

See Ya
Mark

No snow and I'll show!

If my work schedule and wife will allow I'll be there.

Addl. Donation if there is interest.

Glad to hear about the tech session. I plan to be there for sure. Can bring some extra heat if needed. If there is time and interest from others, I have quite a bit of metal on my rigs that needs patch welded in to replace rust and it would be great for me (and hopefully others) to have some welding lessons from the experts who are good at this. I could bring my red 60 which has only two small places to do before I can get it in for paint. I can bring my 110 mig (brand new and never been used) for a comparison to how a gas model does. It seems we are constantly at war with these vehicles and rust. Anyone else interested in a patch welding tech session on a vehicle? If so, let me know what else I should bring besides the above and some 20 guage metal. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Happy Holidays.

Rust on an older cruiser, you must be seeing things. I got to looking at mine after the toys for tots run while it was on the trailer, and I could see daylight between the diamond plate above the running board and the door sill. So I guess my winter too do list includes removing all the diamond plate and going back with some heavy stuff for rockers. The list of things seems to grow every time I look at the truck.
