the link Steve posted is the one I have at home, never made it tho...but it IS plan B for my project....

experimenting this weekend with $9 brackets from AA-Mfg, will know by tomorrow if they will work or not....

I thought you were talking about this link as far as caliper mounts.. Sorry..


This is actually the bracket that I used on my 40 when it had a tacoma rear axle (same flange as a mini.) Except, I had them made out of THICK steel and milled them on opposing sides for the offset instead of welding the pieces together.
 
Project may take a new direction. I wanted to run 38.5" tires or better originally but I was concerned about the local police being a thorn in my side. Now I have friends on the force so I now have immunity in this small town. I was also troubled by lifting the vehicle on such a narrowed set of axles (I will post pics to show you what I mean). The high pinion reverse rotation Ford center section and Detroit locker in the rear are solid improvements over stock. I am thinking that I might send out the rear axle housing and have both tubes replaced with longer stock and fitted with GM flanges and a custom set of Moser axles. Front end is still up in the air? I am also contemplating fabbing in a King Off-Road coil-over rear suspension with trailing arms. Seems like it wouldn't take much more time than relocating the rear springs. Any thoughts about doing any of this?
