newb question: "D" light

The "D" on my instrument panel shift display doesn't light up when I'm shifted into Drive. All the other shift positions do light up. I assume it's supposed to light up.

Is this an easy fix or will I have to tear half the dash out to fix it? It's only worth fixing if it's really easy...

Ok, never mind, there is another thread about this, but it is titled "light went out on my odometer"... odometer? wtf? I DID search for D light and got nothing....I'll try the slap therapy...

The "D" light is out on mine as well. The part number is "Bulb" 90072-02005. Haven't gotten around to putting it in yet.
