Shoot, I just gave away a 1965 M105 this morning.

With new canvas. I tried to get rid of it forever on mud. Nice find.

WTF? I would have paid...

Nice find Al. I might have to check out the one in Sparta.

I've acquired it for free 7 years ago. Sandblasted it, primed it. Purchased a tarp. I did make 75.00 on the deal. Mainly to cover the cost of the tarp.

A M105 is a deuce and a half trailer. They tow really well, but are rather wide.

Keep looking on the GSA auctions website. http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions/

They sell these military surplus trailers all the time on the Missouri section. They are usually located in Lebanon, MO.

Got mine in Hillsboro :D. Yea i looked there, but it seemed like the ones I found were on either coast. Guy posted on Craigslist, I called within the first hour he said. $400. with NEW tires, and a pintle to ball hitch adapter, which I'll probly never use agin. Got a buddy who works for the Forest Serv who " diverted " one, on its way to Salem for auction. Sold it for $200, didn't know I was lookin . Al

Very nice trailer for the 40!

Only an idiot would get rid of something that nice (especially if it had new canvas) :grinpimp:

Yep, I lob in out there so you can knock 'em out of the park. I would have been disappointed if you missed that one! :)

PS the trailer wasn't that nice. Working order is how I'd describe it. I'd like to find a 105

Lebanon, MO Conservation lot is a good place to find them, amongst other things. We used to get our brush trucks from there. I haven't been there in a number of years.

They sell tons of stuff from that place in Lebanon on the Government Surplus Auction website.

Just pic Missouri from the menu in the upper right corner.
