I just moved from the suburbs of Phoenix where you don't have to look for a good spot to go off road you just drive away from the city in any direction and in 20 minutes you'll surrounded by great places to go. Now I'm in the west suburbs (Hoffman Estates) of Chicago and although I know the area very well because I grew up here I didn't have an interest in 4x4's until I lived in AZ and I have no idea where to go. I am going to a Prairie Stat 4 Wheel Drive Club meeting on Wednesday and will surely meet lots of great people with some ideas on where I can get my off road fix. I just can't wait. BTW I have a bone stock '91.
