Well, my wife has been driving the 80 I bought her for about 10 years. I have been patiently waiting for it to be mine…well in Dec I bought her a loaded Odyssey. She was not happy at all. So I started looking again, this time for the car she really wanted- a 100. After much searching and ruling out the beaters, I found a 1999 locked with only 74k miles. Had the 60k service done- with new timing belt. It needed a new rear view mirror, antenna, and the sun roof wouldn't open…talked them down to $14.9 and they fix the sunroof (which I just found out will cost $3300). So, how did I do??

Momma loves it, and the 80 is mine...

Welcome, and congrats on the new to you 99. $14,900 is not horrible, you got low miles, but it's on the upper end of the price range.

In the end it doesn't matter, the LC will serve you well for many years, enjoy it!

I just got a 99 for $9500. Needed tires, had large scratch on back bumper, needed hood supports and had 134K miles. All records and services.

Drove it for 3 weeks or so and the ABS pump went out :crybaby:. That part is 1700.00+ and I still have to pay labor.

So I am in it 12,100 with the part and tires.

I would say an extra 2,900.00 for the 60k miles isnt bad.

Two cruisers are always better than one. Especially if one is a minivan. :D

i wondered about the price being on the high side...but momma wanted a "pretty" one and it is. The mirror was cosmetic, and the antenna only needed a new mast (motor and relay were fine).

In about 10 years it will be mine :steer: Now time to trick out the 80 :wrench:

I'll post pics when they're done with the sunroof. Thanks for the input
