New Tires on the 80! Tall and Skinny

Just got new tires on the 80 this weekend. It's screaming for the lift now more than ever.

I decided to go with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 in 255/85/16, tall and skinny.

My initial review is the look is exactly what I wanted. They have a little road noise but nothing worse than what I had. They feel good driving on the road so now Its time to test them off road.

Moving up from 31" to 33" fills out the wheel well nicely, but its screaming for that 2.5" OME lift.

I took a few shots with the iPhone, nothing great but just so you guys can see....

looks good! im in need of a lift too. im running Nittos 295/75/16's with no lift.

you will love those tires....they work great offroad. Not best MUD TIRE but for overall trail tire they are exceptional in my opinion...rocks, sand, mud, loose stone, dirt, etc.

Dang, I had never heard of 295/75/16s. I have 265/75/16s now, and was thinking of going to 255/85/16 next. But you may have swayed me. I wasn't looking forward to the road noise of the mud terrains. Thoughts?
