Speaking of...Did go out to the 'outback' couple weeks ago. Couple nights at Kendal Jackson north of Fort Klamath and a couple of nights out in the sunstone belt then on to the hot springs for a night. tad cold too at night.
Exploring the sunstone belt was incomplete due to the low hung chasis of the tercel.
Love to bring the cruiser up here again but that seems a long shot.

pictures: camp sunstone...sunstones...mmmm hot springs...warner valley dry lakes...Shasta off 97.

Hmmm, good ideas for a get a way! Plus its not to far away.

one of the cool things about the area is that camping is free at the hot springs on Hart mnts and in the Sunstone collection area.
perfect for my budget. :crybaby:
not into winter camping, especially up 'thataway' with that kind of cold, but would like to hit it a couple of times this coming year. "Prolly" won't have sumpin' better than the tercel by that time. Looking into financing the LC up to that area. sure would like to venture off the 'beatin' path more than the tercel allows.
Mining sunstones and hot springin' is on my list!:hhmm: :steer:
