It needs a flat black paint job with teeth down the side.

Don't mean nothing by it. Just hoping some good natured ribbing will entice Dave out.

<sniff> <sniff> I'm hurt. I expect this kind of behavior from Bob, but not you Dan. What happened to you? ;):D

All I will say is I've been on the trail with Tom - have you? :steer:;p

Tom,
Looks great!

Oh, don't think I didn't appreciate the statement. Maybe I should have included a smiley.

Tom, that's a great deal. I need to buy more high MPG cars for 100 bucks.

Now you've gone and caused Dan to question his judgment. Go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.

Oh yeah, nice car Tom! Where's my backup switch? :D

I like that and maybe even a fin on the top. The Land Shark. Maybe that will get people out of my way on the drive out of D.C.

Niiicceeee. that is really a steal. If you don't want it, you could easily flip it.

What are your plans for it? OME lift? SS IROKs? ARB lockers? Can't wait to see how it does on the trail. :D

I was thinking about some 33's, would probably have to get Ryan to do a custom lift on it. Lincoln Lockers would do the trick, and custom exterior roll cage so that no matter which way it rolled you could keep rolling it until it was upright again. :hillbilly:

By the way Dave , I think both of us need to more time in on the trails are you planning to go to the Fall Crawl ? No luck on the backup switch.

Does it have a "low range" or just a button to engage the 4wd? Great steal at $100!

I believe it has a low range. It's a 5 spd and to the left of 1st on the shifter it has EL. It also has a floor shifter for FWD or 4WD. I'm still learning about it. It amazed me that it got 33 mpg , I would have thought maybe 25.

Tom,

My 8th grade shop teacher - Mr Becker had one of those and then my dad bought one. Great car. Ugly. Fugly even. Last forever though.

It is amazing in the snow.

I'll see if my dad still has the shop manual laying around. Knowing him, he gave it to the guy he sold the car to, but I'll double check.

How is my old truck? Still running as smooth as it did before?

John,

Nellie is doing great. Not sure if I told you but after I got her back together I looked up Leslie & Woody the couple you got her from and took her over for Leslie to drive. She was glad to see that she was still on the road.
As far as the Tercel being ugly you are so right. Even the girl at the insurance co. asked me if it was ugly. She said one of her neighbors has one and the only time he drives it is in the winter.
Hope to catch up with you at the Vienna Inn in Sept.

Not sure yet. I'm too sensitive to handle any more "small tire" abuse. :flamingo:

No luck on the backup switch.

It was a long shot. I'd have been amazed if you had one. Even SOR doesn't have them. Thanks.

Dave, don't let those big tire bullies get you down, tell them your tires reach the ground just like theirs.

Tom,

That is really cool, I'll bet she was psyched to see it again.

Looking forward to seeing it again myself at the Inn in September.
