I'm actually considering renewing my TLCA membership under this promotion. I really don't need a copy of Trails sitting around the house. Is it possible to have my copy of Trails mailed to an APO/FPO address. I've got a friend of mine in Afganistan and I'd like to mail it him for he and his buddies to read?

Dr. M.C.

That is one of the most fantastic ideas I've ever heard. Hell, we have X numbers of TT's sitting around in a warehouse somewhere...let's send some of them to our troops!

That's thinkin with your dipstick Jimmy.... thwap! :hillbilly:

Mike.. I'm unfamiliar with the process of an APO/FPO address. Is is considered a normal USA post address? If so I would not forsee any issue with that process.. If they take "Bulk" mailings. if it's considered an "international" address it might be a touch more complicated. But either way I'm sure it can be arranged. Lemme know if you have any idea how that mailing works and all that would need to be done is set the mailing address at that address. probably note your current one in the notes in the database.
Hope texas is treating you and your family well.. Give Holley a hug for me and Merry Christmas..

Mike.. I found some info..
ShipitAPO - Shop anywhere, Ship it APO
I'll try to read up and discuss with Jennifer on the way to hunt bambi this afternoon.
It'd be good to have you back as a member of the TLCA.. we'll see what we can do to meet your needs.

Mike you can renew under your number & name but must list the APO/FPO address on the renewal form & the person’s name since it is a Military forwarding service. and it needs to be 1st class postage. Make sure you note both names and addresses. Military probably doesn't have a record of you at the APO address.

Another option is to renew on your own, TLCA can note "DO NOT MAIL TRAILS" you'll never get the magazine then buy a gift membership for your buddy under the BRC promotion. Then they both of you get the gift card, friend gets Trails & you don’t get Trails. ANd both get BRC and TLCA gets 2 renewals..

Any other questions holler.

Eric, Thanks for the info. APO/FPO's should work the same as a US mail address, as it appears you've found out. I'm personally more interested in being able to attend events without anyone getting their britches in a bind and extending my BRC membership.

I'll double check with Austin to make sure he's cool with getting the magazine. If not I'll just opt-out of the Trails altogether.

Disclaimer: For all those new or not so new members interested in TT, it's a great magazine! Todd and the tech guys do a great job putting it together! My Cruiser is not much Cruiser anymore so not much of that interests me any more.....

Texas has been great! A little hot this summer, but cooler then Kansas when we left. There's snow in the area today :censor:, but it'll be gone by mid-day tomorrow . I really enjoy all the trees, 50+ on our half acre, and the lack of WIND :clap:.

Good luck on the hunting trip! If the deer that come through our yard in the morning were bigger my freezer would be full  Thanks for the info!
