Thanks to Pitbull Tires and Rob Ridgeway, the LX has a new pair of shoes. Sorry for the low quality pic.

Now to get a set of sliders fabbed up before DSR...

Nice rig.

How is it on the road with the Pit Bull's?

Looks good Chris!

I'm thinking more and more I'd like a set of more aggressive tires, maybe some GY MTR's or Cooper STT's like Jake has on his 40.

Well, I'm sure we will be running the same trails at Tuttle so watching first hand will be nice. They sure look like a great tire but I'm still leaning towards TSX's for trail only. There is something magical about swampers in the woods. Never know watching your rig may change my mind.

Do you think we can convince Mike to put a set on Deb's 80?:)

I don't know at this point if I'd recommend them for a DD. Driving down the street this morning reminded me why the world has gone to steel belted radials over bias ply.

These are the 3rd wheeling tire I've run. So far, the BFG MT's clean out better, the GY MTR's grip better. We'll see where these fall in my rankings.

those tires on jakes 40 are really nice...they have great road manners not to loud and they seem to do real well in the off road situations i have seen them in...they are perfect for the pavement pounder/light off road use jake puts them thru...and the price we bought them for here at a little local tire shop was excellent!...let me know when you get ready to purchase some and i will hook you up with the fellas that sold jake his.

MTRs are quiet when new, but get MUCH louder after about 15-20k miles.

Loud doesn't bother me, especially since I really only drive the Cruiser to go wheelin. I just want the tires to last about 30K plus, that is my biggest concern, I can't afford to buy tires every year, especially MT's.

I don't think 30K will be a problem. I've got almost 10K on mine and the 'nubbies' are finally gone.

80s tend to be easy on tires if you rotate regularly, run appropriate pressures and drive reasonably. I ran a set of 315 GY MTR for over 40k. They're now on the mini and have at least 1/3 of the tread left.
