New Owner Questions

Hi everyone:

I just bought a used voodoo blue FJ (smurfmobile is its new name - my son is 11). It's an automatic and came with many of the avalable upgrades. I am very happy with it and look forward to using it to get to camping, fishing and photography spots.

I have a couple of questions:

The front floor mats slide around. It is missing one of the plastic clips that fit into a hole in the floor. The remaining clips seem to get kicked loose frequently. Is this typical? Are there good aftermarket mats available?

I need more places to store small gear. Does anyone know of a good source for visor and seat back pockets etc.? My last car came with lots of these and they were very convienent.

Please share your thoughts.

Congratulations on your purchase.

If they are the rubber mats, they will not slide at all if using the two hooks per mat.
Your dealer should be able to get you some, or the previous owner may have not installed them.
They may still be in a plastic bag in your main glovebox.

Lots of stuff on the market for the sun visors to hold stuff.
Mine Velcros to the visor, and it holds my reg papers, a pen, business cards, and more.

Mine where in the glove box as corey stated. I think the dealers are to lazy to install them. maybe a minute to install with a phillips screw driver.
