Seeing as I had done a king cab in 1995 my friend 'stretch' likened it and wanted a mod on his fj45.
The day came today after aquiring some parts, I'm ready to cut and chop the roof side panels.
My mod was modest in retro spect. He is asking for 23.3/4 added to the cab.
As you know that falls right past the frame arch, so notching the floor plate is something I will have to work into the plans. More revised drawings with the new floor figured out.
From where the door closes at the body there will be just shy of 3 feet to the rear of the Cab.
There will now be a toyota syle roll bar installed for the seat belt support. Not sure if the rear will be a cargo hold or have jump seats.
Any thoughts on this length ?

Hey
Almost big enough for a door that would look good if you want that style. Never ending choices in front of you. For me my 6-8" add is where I am going. Don't want the wheel base to long. As it stands on mine it will be 118" and a 65" bed give or take, I think if I remember clearly, which is a good number for wheeling. Keep in mind the longer the tub the shorter the bed to wheel base, and there comes a point that it looks out of proportion in my view, each to there own. That is why we have this hobby so we can make choices to our liking. My take in a nutshell. Best Skip
