Thanks Charles. Georg is a model to which I aspire. Your opinion of me is not universally held but I work daily to improve.
Just remember the deal. I say something nice and I get $5.00 or a Terrain Tamer coffee cup.

I needed some FJ62 help today and sent Georg an email. I had a response and a phone call less than 5 minutes later....... on a Sunday. Obviously, this can't always be the norm, but it's stuff like this that makes our community so great. Thanks for the time today @orangefj45

Keep your phone close, it looks like I just dipped my toes into a new project and I may fall in over my head. ;)

A new project? FJ-62?

Let me know if I can be of assistance Stan! Is this project in Denver? If so, it's *highly* likely I would have time to come play....

You bet it is, Dan. I'm not ashamed in any way to say that I will need all the help I can get. There are so many things that will be new to me that I'll probably be begging for help left and right and searching the far ends of MUD, old Toyota Trails and the Rising Sun forum every time I open the door. I only started walking again two weeks ago, so I may be biting off more than I can chew. Sending you an email right now.

Handbrake problems with your LandCruiser?
Terrain Tamer have developed a modified strut that tightens the grip of the brake shoes against the drum, preventing slipping.

Thanks! We are indebted to our partners and community for all of our good ideas :)

In this case, the suggestion came from @hoser and we are very grateful for his help bringing this to our attention!

WINDOW STICKERS :bounce::bounce2:

We picked up the first run of Cruiser Brothers window stickers to join our Terrain Tamer and Harrop sticker selection for friends and family.

These are good quality items, sourced from the same folks who did our vehicle wraps.

Let us know if you would like a couple! :)

NEW TOY

We love our Cruisers (all of them) but time came to swap out one of the shop trucks and the FJ62 fire truck went to a new home.

Given our commitment to Harrop ELockers, we have expanded the offer to Tacomas, 4Runners, FJ Cruisers, etc. so it seemed appropriate to add a Tacoma to the fleet.

Here is the new Taco - a one-owner 2002 SR5 with 193,000 miles from new. Lots of recent maintenance and service and it drives like new.

We will do some cosmetic upgrades and add a Harrop to the rear end (no factory elocker on board) along with other tasteful upgrades.

Any suggestions from the community?

Interested in some feedback on the TT clutches. I need to replace the one between my 22RE and w56. Had bad experiences with some others, looking at just going OE, but curious of how these compare. Don't need crazy clamping for crawling or anything, just a good replacement clutch.

Also, TT kits available for SF rear 80 axles and early SA mini truck axles (guessing same as 40/60/etc.)

Thanks

I used a Terrain Tamer clutch behind my 1HZ.

I haven't driven the truck yet (still putting it back together) but I can say that I was very impressed with the TT clutch. The components all look and feel quality to me, and the packaging was absolutely genius. It's the first time I've ever installed a clutch without even a chance of getting a dirty fingerprint on any of the parts. I was very impressed by that--someone was thinking when they designed the packaging to make the installation that much easier, and likely longer lasting because of it.
