TERRAIN TAMER SUSPENSION UPDATE

We have carefully approached the offer of TT suspensions since these kits are a little more complicated (more parts, more variations) than a knuckle, TC or tranny kit.

We have four suspension kits on the ground and should have all of them installed in the next few weeks. Inspection of the components (from folks that have installed all of the popular brands) have resulted in the following comments: Heavy spring packs, similar to OME, very good powder coat/paint, well-crafted and finished shocks, etc.

We will keep you posted on the results. Here is the most recent shipment, more to follow.

Yes!

I hope these turn out good since my 70 needs a suspension.

:)
Me too, but if we sell very many of them, my chiropractor will probably make enough to retire early!

NEW TERRAIN TAMER TV COMMERCIAL

Since most of this thread's readers do not live in rural Australia (where it is shown), we are putting up a link the the YouTube version of the advertisement.

TC REBUILD KIT UPDATE

Georg and I originally got into business together to address supply issues, quality and pricing for knuckle and transfer case kits. The clutches, ELockers and suspensions followed - along with 1HZ parts and other selections from the Terrain Tamer catalogue.

We have managed to amass a decent inventory of transfer case bearing / rebuild kits for resale through our installing shops and dealers. Just an FYI that this part of the business (along with knuckle kits) is how we got here and still important to us.

Photo below is of a Terrain Tamer transfer case kit going into a customer rig.

We stock a full range of kits for almost any Land Cruiser from the old guys through 80 Series.

Give Onur (Land Cruiser Parts & Consulting) Jason (Cruiser Yard) or Georg (Valley Hybrids) a call if you need a transfer case kit. If you need an installing shop to help with the rebuild, please give Ward a call for a referral in your area.

And here's the finished product along with some rebuilt five speeds - almost identical twins

SHIPPING NEWS

We are using Fastenal for shipment of suspension kits and pallet-sized parts orders. They gave us a great deal when we drop off at the local Fastenal for delivery to a Fastenal near the customer location. A little effort required but they have been great to us so far.

FASTENAL UPDATE

First shipment went well. Shipped a small pallet with a Terrain Tamer leaf spring suspension kit in one week from here to there. Great service, low price, etc. Commercial accounts get a discount - a fair deal all around.
