So I replaced my passenger side axle with a remanufactured one from Autozone. Noticed its ripped pretty good. I have a Toyota axle on the driver side and no problems. I do have a diff drop kit installed. Has anyone used zip ties instead of hose clamps for the boot mod? I was wondering if it helped prevent tearing. Mine ripped next to the clamp, not thru the ribs. Any aftermarket axles that someone has had good luck with? Are the boots any different in quality than a new axle purchase? Or is the Toy OEM the best way to go?
