Hello my name is joeri and i am original from Belgium,since february i live in Panama South America.I just bought a brand new Hilux 3.0 D4D here in addition to the BJ 40 i had already had here.It seems that there is not much info on this car on the forum so i was wandering if anyone can show me some pics or info of modified Hilux(vigo) since i want to change the car a little bit.
-suspenion(or blocks in the front)
-what size of tire (max)
-snorkel
-front winchbumper
So anyone who ones a tricked hilux lets see them and hear your stories:clap:

I read a recent post here that the diesel Hilux could get almost 50 mpg ???Is that true?? Nice looking rig.Wish they were brought to USA.

Well it is brandnew so i don't now yet,but some of my friends in europe have the same hilux, they are al doing short distances there so i think the average of 8 to 9 liters for every 100 kilometers is a good thing.

Not quite up to 50 yet, but for perspective, a 4 door, 4wd, automatic Hilux Vigo D4D can pull 28-30 mpg on the highway. Granted, that is at 65, not 85 mph :D. If you go to a shorter cab and manual, you can see over 30 mpg, no problem.

Forums at newhilux.net require registration but there are some nice builds there as well. I have pictures of a few more trucks from magazines here in Thailand but haven't scanned them - yet!

Hi Joeri,

Yes, they have some nice trucks rolling around here - big lifts, but they see big time flooding during the rainy season so...

They do indeed make the new Hilux here - I think there is atleast one other factory making them outside of Thailand (Latin America?) but I'm really not sure. Someone else may know the answer to that one.
