I've been lurking for a few months now trying to find me a 100 series. I think that I've found one and plan on looking at it next week. It seems to have been taken care of and price seems good. Plan on only doing mild mods when I get one (come from a jeep background and done with the rock crawling thing for a while). Here's the link to it. Carfax shows decent maintenance records. Not my first color choice, but I can live with it. Any thoughts?

Congrats and welcome. Make sure the 90k mile service was done. If not that will be an issue. Those with 100s can give you more details and what it entails.

Looks good. Water pump not a problem unless its weeping which is somewhat common at 90k. Price is a steal if really as nice as it looks.

Thanks for the replies. I would have been there today, but wife ran the Mercedes 5K today and I am running the 1/2 tomorrow. It was still available this afternoon. Hope it doesn't sell before I can get over there.

thats a smoking deal... and a great color.

pink panty hundreds didnt have an available rear locker did they?

No limited slip

There's a 1999 in white at a credit union in homewood with bad tires and no maintenance records for $13,900. So I'd say jump on that 2000 there or I may!

Did you get it?

Did you get it?

I did not. I just got back from ATL (took the family to Dave & Busters and the Coke Factory). I went to the dealership and test drove/checked it out. Mechanically it has been taken care of and everything was in good working order. The exterior was in "good" condition; it had some areas that the detailer couldn't get out, ie. it looked like the PO had backed out of a garage and scraped the passenger side at the bumper, passenger mirror and rear passenger door (or something like that). The interior was in decent shape ( front seats were worn and cracked, but no rips or tears). All that being said it still was a great deal, but the wife has been with me looking at several 470's and LC. One of which was extremely clean, and she compares all of the others to. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but since she will be the primary driver of this during the week she gets final say.

I almost bought it on the principal of it being such a good deal, but in the end it wasn't the right fit.

Oh well. Keep the missus happy and all will be well.

I sent it to my parents. I hope they trade in the CRD.

via mobile app.

Williams Lexus has a 99 470 with 213,000. Tag asks 10,900.00. I bet they won't let you walk if you offer around $7,500. It looks good and don't know much else. Nice color and might be a little high on mileage but would be a good deal.

Saw it yesterday when I visited my wife for one day. She said it was nice of me to drop by.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it.

The salesman that I had been talking to was a young guy named "Drew". Wasn't pushy at all and knew more about the vehicle than I expected him too.
