Sawmill trail is on the east side of the Santa Rosa Mountain range - east of Anza. It is a great run that starts out as a open climbing fire road with the last few miles climbing through the pines to the top. It has a few technical sections- but any rig that has a mild lift can do it. It really is a neat local trail and has excellent views.

In years past- parts of the trail have been blocked by down tree's.

Well I think a six pack is in my budget;). I will try and scout out some info, not sure if I am going but who knows, especially with the triple digit heat, ehh. I assume you go out the 8 east past Ocotillo?

This is not the Santa Rosas in the desert. The trail starts out at 5,000 feet and climbs to about 8500. Google El Toro Peak.

This is like a big bear run

it sure did. Its needs alot of work to become my daily driver but hopefully in a few weeks it will be ready to go. What tops do you have for your cruiser? did you have a full soft top and hard top?

I've got a full hard top (been in the garage since I bought the 40:)) and family bikini top.

Thanks for the info. on the remote starter solenoid works like a champ and really was as easy as you said.
