New FJ40 Owner in Austin

Just wanted to introduce myself and get involved with the TLCA club.

I purchased a 75 FJ40 in September down in Houston and it is finally road ready thanks to Edwin at LCSPEC. After new tranny cooler, fuel tank, etc I am anxious to finally get it out on the road and see what is next on the the to do list.

What is the preferred community chat forum to find out about local events and get togethers? Is it this site or GoogleGroups?

For those of you in the Austin area, I live in Circle C and would welcome the chance to grab a coffee or beer sometime to look over and swap stories about rigs.

Look forward to going to K2 next year, I was out there last week for the Bronco roundup and sad I missed the FJ event in March.

There is a whole group of LSLC guys in Austin that have their own chapter. It should be easy to connect with them as well since they are closer.
