New Cruiser in the Family

Came across another 80 2 weeks ago, thanks to Jason Corley who was originally interested in it but passed and forwarded the info to me.
1995 80 series 146xxx miles from Raliegh N.C. PO was traveling on I95 when HG blew and ran it extremely hot. Tow truck driver bought it from the owner with the intentions of repairing it and giving it to is daughter to drive. The guy who bought it began to disassemble it then realizing that it was way over his head changed his mind and decided to sell it for what he paid for it.
Removed engine, disasembled and sent block and head to machine shop for vatting and resurfacing of head and block. Head was warped beyond repair. Bought used head and sent it to the machine shop for inspection and decking.

CLEANED EGR PORT/PASSAGE IN INTAKE PLENUM
NEW INJECTOR O RINGS, CUSHIONS AND SEALS
1 NEW KNOCK SENSOR
ALL HOSE CLAMPS FOR PHH DONE BEHIND CYLINDER HEAD.

As of right now this vehicle will replace the 4runner my daughter crashed last year, so that i can get back into my white 80 and out out this old 40 thats been my dd for about 5 months now. No to little heat, no defrost, lots of rain lately and just plain uncomfortable to drive on a regular basis. Time to clean her back up and put her back on garage queen status.
