After 2 1/2 yrs of looking, I finally found a place that met most of the "wants" on my "want list"
I'm more then happy to have the club meetings held at my new shop
parking shouldn't be a problem
plus, the Golden Spike Pub is a 1/2 block away

we talked about it at the last meeting. For those of you who didn't attend, the address is

81 Moray Street
Port Moody

the ph# is the same if you need directions. It's just off of St Johns Street and is within yelling distance of the Toyota dealership

the next meeting is October 12
dinner is at the pub at approx 6pm, meeting to start between 7 and 7:30ish as usual

hey steve are you going to be running you business from here now too? or do we still go to your place to get stuff??? And is your phone number for business going to be the same?

there will be a few things I'll be getting rid of
no list or ideas yet
I'm trying to move most of my parts (new and used) to the new shop
I have a feeling that 2500 sq/ft just isn't enough space to get it all in. My intention is to regain my house/shop/breezeway/garage/yard for my family. We'll see how it all fits
I'll be setting up my 3' plotter again for use on bumper patterns etc. The remainder of my shop/fab tools will be coming out of storage too.

I posted some stuff on https://forum.ih8mud.com/showpost.php?p=1414439&postcount=21
Short and sweet: I can talk to the owners of the Spike and get a table set up for us for the nights we have meetings. I need a number of people we can expect (approx) for the pub thing. (not everyone might be into buying beer or food at a pub).
Also if we decide to do larger raffles, 50/50 they can help with that too.
Let me know.

3' plotter for bumper patterns. Is that finnally good news for me?

there is no shop ita a big lie, that clean floor is a mirrage amongst a mess of grease and rust :)

Good for you. I imagine it will be nice to get out of the house and gain personal space back.

I am willing to help fill the shop with gravel and dog bombs to aid in Dan's transition to the new location :)

See you guys at the spike. (It is a lot closer than Richmond)

personal space will be nice

I'll be able to use my large screen/surround sound system again
and maybe parts of my house won't smell like an old Cruiser

Hey there Sreve, looks geat, congrats.... but what about those walls? I mean come on;)
Cheers bud, will drop in soon.

truthfully, the walls looked good until I pressure washed some paint off and painted the floors
Now the walls need some attention. I figure I'll paint the front section and cover the rest with racking

Looks good, you can always cover the crappy walls with cruiser memrobelia (dunno if that is how to spell it). When do you expect to be running the bussiness from there???

I hope you all know the "home space" is just a lie. He might get the one room cleared, but the garage, breeze way and yard will still be full. This just means he can get more stuff.

Glad we're finally out here, means I can come to meatings before work.

Bring camp chairs, doubt Steve will have alot there.

I have no chairs
please bring your own chairs or sitting devices

I plan to have my office and garage back at this point
the piles of used parts in the rear yard will no doubt be staying for now. The main shop will be a work in progress and the breezeway/shop space will be the sorting crap pit of doom
