Here is a photp of my Tacoma with it's new bumper. I have installed
a Warn M8000 winch w/ synthetic cable.

Looks good man. I've got the same setup on my Tacoma - the M8000 is a nice machine.

Thanks! The weight from tha bumper and winch forced me to put a set of donahoe coilovers up front.
I saved some weight by going synthetic cable. I wasn't too happy with the price$$ of the coils but the
ride is much improved. Did you have any up-front weight issues like myself?

Yea, I had the OME 885 coils (590 lb) prior to the bumper, but sold those and upgraded to the OME 886 (660 lb). The 886's hold the weight up front just fine so far. I did the same as you and went with synthetic line along with delrin rollers on my fairlead to reduce some of the extra weight.
I'll probably go with a set of coilovers once my current springs start to age. Mostly I'm curious to see if there is any noticable difference in performance between the OME setup and a set of racing coilovers. Opinions seem to vary....

I used to hang out at tacomaTerritory, and that probably is the biggest reason I went with the coilovers. Those guys seem to prefer them and did a pretty hard sell on me... They sure do rip on OME. I couldn't disagree more. OME's products are without a doubt some of the BEST $$ can buy.
You should be fine with the (660's). I did recently put a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks in back and am very
happy with them.
