new and improved!!!

Just thought I would share the transformation that has taken place since the snow run. Stripped it down after the snow run and started the build. Tore the front end out and did the gussets and upper truss, filled it with 30 spline Longs (axles and birfs), detroit w/ 5.29s, new crawler rims with ballistic fab weld on beadlocks and 37' iroks, new 22r w/ 20r head (motor built from the pan up), Marlin duals (2.28 front and 4.7 rear twin sticked), welded on some front and rear diff armour and some other cool little things. Starting the front exo next weekend. Trying to get ready for the Jambo. Dusty mentioned Calico but I dont know if I will have the cage done. Hope to ride with you guys again soon. Enjoy..... Mike

well I just picked up for a softball tournament on Friday night/Saturday morning so that will damper my exo build a little. I have until the end of april thouhg. The Jambo is 23-25th. I think thats plenty of time.... Did you guys hit the snow this past weekend?

yeah we did, but it wasn't that great. Got to one point where everyone, and I mean eveyone couldn't make it (inside our group and out). Dustin and I made it to that point from our group . . .he maybe another 20 yards farther than me before he said I might as well turn around because there was no where else to go. Then it was time for the kids to start complaining about hanging out in one spot. I think we were back at his cabin by 3:30 so about 5:30 hours in the snow.

he is not a bender but he hangs out with a few. John is the guy I hang out with. He has a F-Toy.. #75 I think. His old roommate is a bender. Mike ward. He has a pretty badass runner... I am going with them to Tin benders this year at the hammers. The first run for my mini might as well be something fun.

I wanted to hit the snow with you guys this weekend but there was no way. I still need to put the brake kit on my trailer and I had not even welded up my front drive line. I want to go to Calico but there is no way I can do that run and then benders 2 weeks later. That would be one expensive month. When is the next bald run gonna be?

We go at least every other month. I have had my fill of snow rus for a while. It might be fun to go up in May when there is partial snow, mud, and rock wheeling. Lots of different types of driving is always fun. One thing I learned after watching the mini's and runners, the guys that weighted the back with tools, prts, and sand bags did a hell of a lot better than rigs that had very little weight in the back.
