I had GL Moore press the old ones out and the new ones back in.

A 3 ton press won't touch these bushings.

Man its hard to keep up with this story line. By next week it will be on 44's with unimog rear axle and a twin turbo diesel in it.

Ha!! If that's the plan, when are you available to start?

Well I think this weekend I am going to sleeve the swaybar and start on the sliders.

Swaybar?? Do you mean the relay rod on the steering?

That's it, the relay rod.
I'm getting my rods mixed up (that's what she said).
Marty corrected me the other night calling the rear control arm the panhard rod.
I am terrible with names. I can look at a part and figure out what it does, but I will forget it's name in a minute.

I can still hear you knock.

Shocks are on. Steering stabilizer studs won't fit and waiting on Doetsch to send the right ones. After all the work to get the original one off I was a little upset.
The hitch receiver is on but no wire harness yet. I was thinking about making my own harness but would like to keep all the factory plugs. Thanks to everyone that helped supply the receiver. At least I can use my bike rack for now.
I accidentally bought a Scion T1806 HU off ebay this weekend. I put a small bid on it and won it. So the stereo install will be in the near future. If anyone is thinking about swapping their stereo for the Scion head unit, let me know. Maybe we can get together for a shop party and do a few of them. The Lexus is a little different because of an extra amp for the massive factory sub woofer, but most Toyota's are plug and play. There may be a little trimming of the dash depending on which model you get.

If I remember right I bought the trailer harness from O'reilly. It is a plug and play. If you are thinking of making your own you need the adapter box that goes from 5 wires to four or four to three can't remember how many wires. Toyota (and most foreign cars) has separate turns and tails so therefore the need for the box.

Nothing that cant be resolved by intermittent relays mounted behind the tail lights. But that requires cutting into the factory wiring which I want to try to keep from doing. I have the relays, plug and wire, but it won't be as nice as a plug and play.

I bought mine at Race Brothers for $35.00. The box mounts in the passenger rear panel were the sub is mounted. The plugs that it hooks into are on the rear cross member. It takes about 5 minute to hook up.

I don't have a sub back there. The LX has a tiny sub in the console. Worthless. I did buy the harness at O'reillys and it's on. I think I paid $32 for it. I have an account with them. Noelle says it's my second home.
I installed the Scion stereo today. I don't have the Ipod cable yet but at least I can play the radio of CD's for now.
