did you need to do the body frame modification with the 295 tires or do they clear good with just the lift. I have Nitto Terra Grapplers in 295x70x17 and going with either OME or RevTek lift...and want to stay away from the cutting unless necassary.

They will be put on tuesday. I took a picture of the stock tires turned at the closest point, without the mud flap there is just over 2" or at least 2" if you are picky of clearance at the tires apex . I will post another picture tuesday with the new tires. If I have to chop the body mount I will post pics of that too. Uncategorized - stock tire clearance with out mudflap

yeah...the 295 are about two inches larger than stock and a bit wider. Turned to their widest point mine push the mudflap cover and are touching body mount.

I am going to order a Toytec, RevTek or OME kit tomorrow....so was hoping not to have to do the chop....that will be last thing I do. LOL

Dont expect to be doing Rubicon or MOAB in a new truck...yep, I am scared....hahaha...so camping trips, hunting trips...and some light to medium offroading on forest trails are about the norm for me...sand, mud, hardbaked clay....the average.

Does anyone have the thread with the chop being done that shows pictures and such...I cant find it.

This is the 295s without a lift....fills in fender quite a bit. LOL:popcorn:
