Since the other thread pretty well died I figured I start a new one on the subject.

I still get the partial page loads and gibberish code but it only happens when I'm going through a Netgear router. I have tried to play with some of the settings but nothing seems to fix it. I'm not a hardware person so I don't have much of a clue as to how to attach this. Any suggestions from the more savvy folks out there?

Unplug it from the outlet and restart you computer turn it back on and check you security settings and virus protection and firewall. I had one and had the same problem. With a little tweaking it worked just fine:)

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

update

Well, after trying a few different things with the Netgear router I replaced it with a Linksys (on sale) because the consensus was there is an internal fault with my unit. The linksys doesn't have any issues at this time.
