Hey! I'm not a member of your club...I live in Utah. It might be tough to make it to the events and meetings. ;) BUT, my nephew is currently at Fort Sill and is looking for an opportunity for some 4-wheeling. He has a 4WD S10 and his buddies have various rigs, but they have no idea where to go for fun and outdoor adventure. I emailed him the list of scheduled events you have posted.

If any of you would be interested in going out with them I know he'd love it. Otherwise, any recommendations? If you name an area it would be great to have some kind of URL, GPS coordinates, some way to find it other than a name that locals use but won't show him how to get there. Thanks!

Sure - rub it in.

I'm more NE side of the sate, fort sill is SW -

Disney is forsure the big draw up here. It's easy enough to find - it's below the grand lake dam between disney and langley. As you cross the bridge you can see the begining of the area.

Hogan's Offroad - Disney Oklahoma's World Renowned Offroad Park
For reservations call 918-435-8001
or email Russ(at)hogansoffroad.com - Index

has more info.

Otherwise, see the web sites listed on the events page for info about the locations, they can provide more info than I can.

On his side of the state, I'm not nearly as familiar - hopefully some of our OKC members will chime in.

I've heard about an off-road park near Altus, but can't find a lot of information on it. Coppermines Off Road Park.

This poster is the only place I found directions to it.
