alright this is what my fj55 has as gearing Sm465 tranny and a Np205
transfer case. what i want to do is a toy box maybe a dual cases setup? does anyone know anyone with use boxes or the adapter to the sm465. right now i am going to try to run use parts for now til the funds get there and then rebuild them.

also iam in need of a lockers or a rear axle like a 14bolt or something or a 80 series? detroit locker use?
 
Put a lomax get in the NP205 and be done with it. The NP205 will be about as strong as it gets and this will be cheaper than a toybox. The put a welded R&P in the rear and a lockright in the front. These will be the cheapest options until you want to upgrade. Keep in mind that a 14 bolt has a center diff and the landcruiser is offset. If you put a lockright in the front, you will probably want to buy some longs also because your rig is heavy and the V8 has more torque than stock.
 
I have the welded rear still. Also go with a lomax and be done. Why go weaker with a toyota box. You are going to need all the strength you can get with that heavy pig. Do it right the first time. I would wheel it with the 205 and upgrade to the lomax when ready. Also another option is a 203/205 doubler. FC fabrication has the adaptor and 203 range box for sale and then you would need the $700 adaptor to mate them together. The good thing is that you can find them used all the time.
 
Don't use a lunchbox locker in the front. It will break the first time you really need to use it,Your rig is just to heavy. Save your money for a good locker in the front.
I know a guy that put in a lockrite on a 87 4runner and broke it the first time out on the the river bank.
 
I have LRs front and rer and they have treated me well, but with the awesome raw power of the F engine, they don't have a lot grunt pushing them.
