Hey guys, I've had my FJ40 for just under a year and I'm about finished with school so I should have more time to devote to it hopefully. I'm looking for someone that can give me a rundown of what I got. I've been into 4wd's for about 8 years but this is my first 40 and I'm really not familiar with everything. Mainly the motor and trans. I know there are mechanics and FJ40 specialists but I just can't afford a few hundred bucks right now. I'll provide lunch, beer or whatever if someone could just meet with me for a bit to look over my rig thats knowledgeable about these. I'm mainly looking to make sure the motor and trans are running good, strong and there are no obvious problems. I'll drive to where ever you are if its reasonable.
