Hey before I go spend hard earned $ on a new set of shocks for this 79 I thought I'd ask if anyone in the club has a good set left over from a recent lift. If you've got a set give me a call at 506-4000 and let's deal.

Mickey, I have a set of 4 Dobinson shocks (ca 2years old) which came with my (used) lift). The only problem is one of them is bent (courtesy of Grayrock ride #1). If you have the means to bend the shaft back into place I imagine they would work. The reason I replaced them was because of the bent one. You can have them if you want to come get them. Also, do you happen to have an extra retainer clip for a 2f valve train? See my previous post today.

No clips
I assume you mean the lifter spring clips? Anyway I don't have any engine internal stuff. Thanks for the shock offer. If they were on a lifted truck they may be too long. I was hoping someone who installed a lift still had their original-length shocks as leftover parts. If you're coming to the meeting tuesday bring the shocks and we'll take a look.
