He’s asking $35k. Looks super clean. White w tan interior.

Low miles for sure, but it is steep for '09.
I know everybody wants low miles, but honestly these rigs don't seem to have any major issues with higher miles... I would buy higher miles with good history, no rust and no accidents and newer year for less - this one may go to someone else for the $$$
Good luck with the hunt !!

It's not the same market today as it was even last year.

There's a lot more recognition of what the LX is - an LC on steroids. Add in unpredictable COVID times tax. Winter tax.

Current market demand sets the price. The value of the car is what you make of it.

There's probably some room to talk him down unless there's few examples available on the market. An advantage for the buyer of an '09 is that financing is not as readily available for a 10+ yr old car, which limits demand to a degree.

He is non-negotiable at $35k. He only owned it for a few months....

I think it's a lot. when I was looking 3 years ago I got deep into negotiation on a 2008 TLC with bumpers sliders front and rear lockers, and an arb dual air compressor at 140,000 for $29k.

Many many threads in all the forums on this site on price advice and its almost always the same . Everything is too much unless you ask the folks if they would let there truck go for the same price and its usually a no. You should really not worry about what you pay for it. Look closely at the truck, do some research and make a choice your happy with. If you wait til this site justify's your purchase you'll never get one. For most of us its a purchase of want not something you justify.

There might be a lot of threads, but each are specific to the vehicle in question. Others have already posted their results and findings with similar rigs, which for me, is research and a valuable tool when buying a vehicle. I dont need any justification for anything. It is simply asking a question about something being reasonable or not. I know enough about them to make a smart, educated decision, regardless of price.

For what its worth, i passed on the truck. Definitely looks super clean but for $35k, no thanks.
