need power saw parts

Have McCullough 50,s to 60,s ,yellow,no model
no. on it,about 50cc,16" bar,has cowling on it,no exposed gas tank. Need 2 springs that go
on base of starter pawls. Will take complete saw or parts or if someone knows where to get parts,OK! Is a good saw and would like to keep it going.:bounce:
 
Welcome to MUD. Post a picture of what you have.

From that vintage, most saws used a Fairbanks Morse Dual shoe slide pawl mechanism. When you pull the rope the two flat shoes sjip out at an angle and grab the starter cup.

Very common.

If this is you set up, let me know. I have some of those in my shop.
