Red's body needs to be sandblasted. One of the PO's put some crappy undercoating/bedliner on it and it's bubbling and flaking causing more rust to build up. I also found out tonight that probably the same PO decided that bondo works for replacing sheetmetal when it rusts out.... :bang:

So any shops recommended? I thought about doing it myself, but I don't have the space to equipment.

Thanks,
Brittain

Master Blaster out off of Market did my street rod and did an excellent job. Spokane Sandblasting out on Trent did the bed, cab top, hood and wheels on my FJ45 and did a great job too. I think Spokane Sandblasting is probably a little cheaper. I think Master Blaster is who I'd use on something a little more delicate or valuable. Both did a good job and I did not see any warping from either.

Hey, I don't have any shop recommendations unless your in Seattle. I'm sure you are aware that sandblasting won't get the undercoating off. that has to all be done by hand, chisel and a heat gun work best. I'm going to be making 3-4 trips back and forth over the next few months if You want me to drop it off at sandblastersinc.com for you up in Marysville, but you need to do all the pre-sanblasting work first.
