Spector offers side hardtop sliding windws that I want to see if will fit in my 1983 BJ42 LX with factory side sliding windows if I cannot have custom weatherstripping made for inside the tracks of windows? Toyota no longer makes it so I am wondering if my LX side window holes are the same size as 76 and earlier hardtop side window holes? can someone help with this?

thanks
Rob

Assuming the glass goes halfway into the weatherstrip, it's 33.5" long by 15" high, as measured on my 1971 FJ40.

But the 65 up to 8-76 windows are longer because they don't have the opening vent window in the rear, between the side window and the rounded corner window. The 8-76 to 84 FJ40 hard tops have the opening vent window, and thus the side window is shorter. Page 108 of the SOR catalog shows the differences in the FJ40 hard top.
